TSO TSC Sublance Probe
The Sublance Probe is the most important equipment for the computer dynamic control of the converter. Application conditions of TSC type probe
1. T ≥1504ºC, all of scrap steel is smelted
2. Reducing oxygen supply and mass flow rate of bottom blowing
3. Applied before 2 minutes before the smelting end point
4. The insertion depth of sublance is 500-700mm.
5. Measuring duration is 6.5s
6. The high-precision can be guaranteed if the carbon content is more than 0.15%
Application conditions of TSO type probe
1. Applied after the oxygen lance is lifted and stayed for about 30-50 seconds.
2. The insertion depth of sublance is 700mm.
3. measuring duration is 9.5s
Usage
1. The probe is installed into the probe box
2. Install the probe to the sublance and measure when the connection is good.
3. After the measurement is finished and the sublance returns its original position, the compound probe should be disassembled from the sublance in time in order to avoid damaging the contact block of the sublance from burning protection tube of the compound probe
