High-carbon pojectile probe

        High-carbon projectile composite probe can be applied to the converter-type secondary lance system, high carbon projectile composite probe consists of protective paper tube, detection probe,melting steel crystallization chamber, high temperature wire and plug-in. The probe uses the crystalline carbon-based principle to detect the composition of melting steel with a carbon content of 20%. High carbon composite probe is used in the middle of smelting, detection of melting steel temperature, carbon content, in the middle of smelting can be known whether the smelting state deviated from the expected target, operator sequestration can ensure that the end-point hit rate can be improved, improve the production rhythm, continue the process flow, reduce safety accidents,extend the life of the converter gain purpose.

Low-carbon projectile probe
 

        Low-carbon projectile probe is divided into lowcarbon projectile composite probe and low-carbon phosphorus composite probe two kinds, both probes are used in the converter projectile secondary lance system, used to detect the melting steel content of 0.15% carbon content. Probe by the protection paper tube, detection probe, high temperature wire and plug-in composition, detection probe by 4.5Kg high-gravity rod steel as a carrier, can be thrown into the melting steel inside the detection, the overall weight of the composite probe is about 8Kg, the maximum length of high temperature wire 20 meters, can be in melting steel non-destructive transmission test data more than 10 seconds. Low-carbon composite probe can be used for smelting tailings,used to detect whether the temperature,carbon content,oxygen content and even phosphorus content in melting steel meet the requirements of steel, to ensure the passing rate of steel, to achieve the reduction of alloy consumption,improve the production rhythm,continue the process flow,reduce safety accidents,extend the life of theconverter gain purpose

Matters need attention

      The detection probe is by gravity and speed into the set depth of melting steel ,so some related factors in the smelting process flow will affect the representativeness of the detection data.

      The end-point lance test must be above the oxygen lance to the oxygen point to carry out the projectile operation (to prevent the air flow from affecting the probe trajectory)

      Probe detection data - temperature carbon value and furnace temperature carbon value comparison,the temperature is about 10-15 degrees higher, the carbon value is lower 1-2, because the process flow detection area is a strong oxygen supply area, so the temperature will be high;

Please follow these precautions.
1. Good slag when probe detection
2. Probe detection front pressure lance time is greater than 30-40 seconds before Probe detection
3. It is not allowed to add material 2-3 minutes before probe detection.
4. Oxygen lance adjoined with slag/steel seriously will cause the probe fall process flow to hit the oxygen lance probability is larger,so that the probability of probe detection failure becomes larger (when the oxygen lance is found serioussticky slag, please clean the oxygen lance and then carry out probe detection);
5. The slag at the furnace port must be cleaned immediately in case of serious slag.
